Cygnet Seed Library /

The Cygnet Seed Library is a community seed sharing project. Our aim is to strengthen food security and the resilience of the Cygnet community through sharing organic, locally grown and adapted seeds.

Where can I find the seed library?

The Cygnet Seed Library is found on the verandah at Oura Oura House, 19 Mary Street Cygnet (across the road from The Porthole Cafe). The seeds are free for anyone in the community, and are available at anytime - come and help yourself!

Come along to a Cygnet Seed Library session

The seed library is run by volunteers, and everyone is welcome to be part of it, no matter what your experience. We currently gather from 1 - 3pm on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month, outside at the Red Velvet Lounge, 24 Mary Street, Cygnet. Some times we hold seed-related skill share sessions, sometimes we just have a cuppa and sort seeds for the library together.
